NEW RESEARCH

** One in ten LGBT workers experienced discrimination at work in the last year
------------------------------------------------------------

Findings from our new report on LGBT workplace discrimination show nearly one in 10 LGBT workers report experiences of discrimination in the past year despite the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2020 decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, which extended employment non-discrimination protections to LGBT people nationwide.

An estimated 46% of LGBT workers have experienced unfair treatment at work at some point in their lives, including being fired, not hired, or harassed because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. LGBT employees of color, transgender workers, and LGBT people who were out at work were most likely to report experiences of discrimination and harassment.
