John, as we pause to reflect on the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, I wanted to share with you my experience from that day. If you're interested, I'd welcome you to respond to share your own story with me.

I had the privilege and honor of being at ground zero soon after the attack. I was brought to tears by the messages of children who had written notes to their fathers, mothers and siblings and posted them at ground zero.

And I was also so proud to witness the heroism and determination of the workers and rescue crews. It inspired me to no end.

It's critical in our country that we remember those who lost their lives and those who worked tirelessly to try to rescue people. That's important in America - that we move from a society of I to a society of WE.

Life is not just about us, but it's about others that are around us as well. Our ability to do better at thinking of others in our society will solve so many of the challenges that we face today.

May God bless the victims, their families and the many heroes from 9/11.
