CLCV Member,

Election Day is on Tuesday, September 14. By now, every registered voter should have received a mail ballot for California’s recall election.

The office of California governor can affect climate action in many ways across the state, country, and world. But right now, the most competitive recall candidates will reverse our state’s climate progress if given the chance.

We can’t go backwards, and we won’t go backwards. That’s why we need you to vote NO on Recall!

If you haven’t already, now is the time to make a plan to vote. You can drop your ballot off in the mail, at the nearest official ballot drop box, or at your local vote center.

Voting in-person is available for this special election. On Election Day, polls are open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Click here to find a local vote center or to check if your county offers early in-person voting

Millions of voters have already cast their ballot, and we need every vote to make it clear that California will not go back on its climate progress. Join us in voting NO on Recall and make sure your loved ones do, too!

We believe that transformational change is necessary and only by transforming our political system will we create the opportunity to take bold action on climate change. We elect and cultivate environmental champions, turn election victories into policy wins, hold our lawmakers accountable, and build political power for change. We inspire hope and action and fight for equity and justice for all Californians. We are in the business of changing what’s possible.
