Dear John,
Many thanks to everyone who’s participated in our TSA Week of Action as we commemorate the founding of TSA. As our government has endeavored to secure the friendly skies, the workers on the front lines of aviation security cannot be left behind.
This week we have highlighted the voices of front-line workers, made a call to action for Congress to support the workplace rights of TSA officers, and spread the word about how far we've come and the work still left to do.
As we wrap up our TSA Week of Action please continue to share, educate, mobilize and act! Here are a few resources to help you keep the momentum going.
Read Politico's latest in-depth article, quoting our union, about the need for better working conditions for TSOs.
Use your social media networks to share the important work done by our TSA officers and their need for fair and equitable workplace rights.
Check out our latest videos from TSA officers sharing their stories about the importance of being treated fairly on the job.
Tell your lawmakers to support Title 5 rights for TSOs!
Thank you to our AFGE activists
who have taken on this challenge for the last 20 years. We will be victorious!
In Solidarity,
AFGE
