John --

I stand with the Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN).

I believe Alaska is at ground zero for climate change. We're facing a crisis, and it's time for immediate action.

But Dan Sullivan won't do anything about global warming. Sullivan thinks the "verdict is still out." He refuses to listen to scientists who have studied it or listen to the concerned Alaskans who see the impact of climate change in their daily lives.

As a U.S. Senator, I will take bold action -- but I need your help to get to the Senate. If you believe we are in a climate state of emergency, please chip in $5 or more to our campaign right now and help me defeat Dan Sullivan.

Alaska's lands and waters are warming at twice the rate as the rest of the world's. The permafrost is melting, damaging our infrastructure, causing mass erosion and flooding, and forcing entire towns -- like Newtok -- to relocate at a cost of millions of dollars.

People in Alaska have died from unpredictable ice conditions.

And global warming has impacted our wildlife too -- from seals and shellfish to salmon and polar bears. As a commercial fisherman, I've seen how warming waters have caused fish to migrate further north. As a lifelong Alaskan, I know climate change has disrupted and changed seasonal hunting and gathering.

Unlike Dan Sullivan, I'll be a U.S. Senator who listens to climate experts and regular Alaskans -- not special interests who profit off a status quo that imperils our future.

But I can't do it alone. I need folks like you to help me defeat Dan Sullivan and ditch Mitch McConnell so we can pass the bold action we need to address the climate emergency. Please chip in $5 or more right now.
