** This Saturday We Honor the Victims and Heroes of 9/11
------------------------------------------------------------

This Saturday, we're partnering with our friends from Arlington Falls Church Young Republicans ([link removed]) to honor the victims of the September 11th attacks 20 years ago.

At approximately 9:37 am, on September 11th, 2001, 184 people lost their lives when American Airlines Flight 77 was deliberately crashed into the Pentagon. See more here ([link removed]) .

Join us this Saturday at 9:00 AM at the Air Force Memorial ([link removed]) , overlooking the Pentagon, to honor the victims and heroes of 9/11. Find out more on the Facebook event page ([link removed]) .

** Meeting Next Monday at the Capitol Hill Club
------------------------------------------------------------

Please join the DC Young Republicans next Monday, September 13 at 6:30 pm for our September Meeting at the Capitol Hill Club ([link removed]) .

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for networking and drinks (Ca$h Bar) and the program will start around 7:00 p.m. Bring your Republican friends, coworkers, and interns. Non-members are welcome! Sign up here ([link removed]) .

** Join us for an upcoming deployment!

This fall we’re partnering with our friends from the Young Republican Federation of Virginia ([link removed]) to knock doors and get out the vote for some great Republican candidates, including Glenn Youngkin ([link removed]) for governor. Will you join us for one - or multiple - of the below deployments?
* October 1-3: Roxann Robinson ([link removed]) for Virginia House of Delegates District 27 (Greater Richmond Area) - sign up here ([link removed])

Deployments are fun weekend opportunities to support Republican candidates by reaching out to prospective voters at their doors. It’s a valuable and rewarding experience to talk to so many voters, and you’ll get the hang of it quicker than you think!

Travel expenses are covered and any necessary training is provided. Each deployment differs, but here’s what the weekend usually looks like.
* Friday afternoon/evening departure
* Saturday door knocking, voter contact and evening FUN!
* Sunday morning door knocking then return to DC
