This Saturday sees the welcome return of the Nottinghamshire Pride parade.Ā The Pride march, while a demonstration in support LGBTQIA+ rights,Ā is always a wonderful celebration in the city. It brings visibility to our LGBTQIA+ community and encourages people to come together and embrace the diversity that Nottingham is so well known for.
The parade will commence from Albert Street by St Peters Church as it winds its way to Hockley. If you wish to join the parade, please begin to gather from 10am ready to start at 11am. Or, watch the parade in what is always a joyous, colourful, and celebratory spectacle of the city's diversity.
Unfortunately, the traditional community marketplace and music stage in Hockley will not be taking place this year due to the pandemic, but revellers will be welcome into Hockley's vibrant bar scene.

The annual Nottingham Green Festival is a celebration of our environment. Featuring a range of installations, stalls, and fun interactive displays which highlight how everybody can assist in working towards the city's climate neutral 2028 goals.
This year's event will be completely vegan with everything powered by renewable energy.
Visitors can also enjoy free live music, and entertainment.
The festival is free and runs from 12-6pm.
