Dear John,
Each of us can think of a time when we needed to take a stand for what was right. In Charlotte, North Carolina, black pastors are doing just that in response to Planned Parenthood opening a new surgical abortion center in their neighborhood.
Recently, we had the opportunity to talk with the founding pastor of Bethel Outreach International Church in Charlotte, Bishop Larry Jackson. With Planned Parenthood moving into his neighborhood, Bishop Jackson felt it was urgent to pull together other local black bishops and leaders to say “no” to the abortion industry destroying life.
In addition to Bishop Jackson’s work in his community, he has also authored a new book in which he explains the root cause of abortion.
I know Bishop Jackson’s perspective on abortion is one that you will want to hear. Lives are being changed because he and other pastors are taking a stand against abortion.
What kind of impact could hundreds or thousands of pastors have if they were to do the same thing in communities everywhere?
