As I prepare to take to the stage in a few minutes, I’m thinking about all of the Canadians I’ve met on the campaign trail these past four weeks. They’re optimistic for the future, and they’re looking forward to building a better Canada. So am I.
Thank you, friend.

The last 18 months have been tough, but we’ve faced them together. Canadians all across the country have pulled together, supported each other, and protected each other, and together, we demonstrated what it means to be Canadian.
That compassion and resilience are what inspire me as I head into tonight’s debate.
Canadians want to finish the fight against COVID-19, and build a better future, friend. And we’ve got the real plan we need to get the job done.
Tonight, I’ll share our plan with Canadians – a plan that will put the health and safety of Canadians first by building a stronger health care system, build more homes and put homeownership back in reach, accelerate our fight against climate change, make sure children across Canada have the best start in life with $10 a day child care, and create one million new jobs.
That’s what I’m fighting for tonight, friend.
If you’re able, chip in now to help our Liberal team keep Canada moving forward.
