Dear Friends,

Join NAS ([link removed][UNIQID]) this Wednesday, October 23, from 2:00-3:00 PM Eastern for a conference call on the 1620 Project, NAS’s response to the New York Times’ 1619 Project.

In August, the New York Times launched The 1619 Project to reframe all of American history as centered on slavery. According to the Times, every important economic, social, cultural, and intellectual development—even the history of religion in America—is from now on to be seen as a consequence of the Atlantic slave trade.

During this call, NAS Research Director David Randall will describe what the New York Times gets wrong—and how NAS is responding with our own 1620 Project.

What: The 1620 Project
When: Wednesday, October 23, 2:00-3:00 PM Eastern
Where: Call into 855-369-0450 and use the conference code 52-275-553 #.

To RSVP and receive follow-up materials afterward, please register here ([link removed][UNIQID]) .
