You're not going to believe this. Eight months after January 6, a far-right group is planning to hold a rally seeking "justice" for the people arrested in the Capitol Riot. At the US Capitol here in DC. News sources are reporting that the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers may be in attendance.

This. is. bullshit. We've said it before and we'll say it for as long as it takes: Fascists don't belong in our city. So ShutDownDC is working with allies to let this group know how we feel and to help our communities thrive.

Today's task: Contact the hotels where these fascists might be staying.

I've learned that the same people who attacked the US Capitol on January 6 are coming back to DC for another rally.
I want to make sure your hotel isn't hosting these violent fascists.
Will your hotel state publicly that you are NOT hosting anyone affiliated with the Look Ahead America rally around September 18?
I'm keeping track of which hotels have committed not to host anyone ahead of the rally, and which have allied with violent white supremacist insurrectionists.
