Friend, I wouldn't bump this to the top of your inbox if it weren't important. But on the heels of Texas attacking women through an anti-choice Republican law, Florida's State Senate president announced intentions to consider the same kind of legislation here.
I’m watching this happen as the Supreme Court is set to rule on whether to uphold Mississippi's ban. If they do, it could overturn decades of precedent set by Roe v. Wade.
Republican lawmakers seeking to undermine and control a person's health care have no business serving in the U.S. Senate. So the urgency for defeating anti-choice Republicans like Marco Rubio, expanding our Democratic Senate majority and codifying Roe v. Wade into law has never been more clear.
But friend, the entire anti-choice Republican establishment is standing behind Rubio – funneling tens of millions of dollars his way to keep him in power. We can't let these Republicans undermine reproductive justice any longer. So please, in the face of these attacks, rush a donation of whatever you can spare to help me win in Florida, defend our Senate majority and protect reproductive freedoms for all.

Subject: RE: Roe v. Wade
Friend, I'm devastated.
The Supreme Court just failed to take any emergency action to block an extremist, anti-choice Texas law that attacks reproductive freedom
Make no mistake, the GOP is waging war against reproductive rights, and this isn't the final move in their playbook. Today, Texans' right to choose was taken away in an instant. Tomorrow, it could happen in Florida. Eventually, if Republicans get their way, it could happen in all 50 states.
That's because the Supreme Court will soon rule on a challenge to an abortion ban in Mississippi, which represents the most consequential threat to Roe v. Wade in our lifetimes. That means the fundamental right to choose is in the hands of right-wing justices like Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh – all of whom Marco Rubio voted to confirm.
I know this is a scary time for millions of Americans – I was a teenager when Roe passed in 1973 - but what we need to do now is turn our sadness, fear and frustration into action. If you know me, you know I'm not going to sit on the sidelines and allow right-wing ideologues harm our basic health care rights.
It's time we defeat anti-choice lawmakers at all levels, so I'm asking you to help me defeat Marco Rubio so we can protect the future of reproductive justice and our Supreme Court.
Friend, I'm asking you humbly, from my heart, to donate whatever you can to help me defeat Marco Rubio and win in Florida. The future of reproductive justice and our Supreme Court is on the line – and with your help, we can ensure a pro-choice woman is the next senator from Florida.

Thanks for believing in our grassroots movement to elect another pro-choice woman to the Senate. I'm so glad to have you on my side.
