This back-to-school season, we're facing many uncertainties – and in these unprecedented times, we depend on our school boards to make the best decisions for the health, safety, and well-being of our children.

But in some places, the officials on these boards don’t know the first thing about our children, the communities they were elected to represent, or the challenging realities our kids face – from hunger and housing instability to racial profiling and overpolicing. 

How did we get here? Politics-as-usual. The solution? Electing Emerge women. Because Emerge women are part of our communities and, in the face of massive uncertainty, we trust them to put children and families first. 

Emerge recruits and trains Democratic women all across the country to get elected at every level of government. That's how we're transforming school boards everywhere to work for kids and families – not conspiracy theorists and career politicians.

As children across the country go back to school, we've set an urgent goal to raise $10,000 to ensure our candidates have the critical resources they need to run and win. But with just a few hours left before our deadline, we’re still falling short of this important goal.
