Hey John – I'm California Governor Gavin Newsom and I have a critical update on the Republican-led recall happening in my state.

Polls show that Republicans are fired-up for this recall and we need to make sure Democrats turn out if we’re going to win. With just five days left before this election is over and more mail-in ballots being returned every day, there is no time to waste.
My opponents in this race promote anti-vax ideas, are climate change deniers, and their victory would not only impact everyone, but it would also give Republicans control of a Democratic state we depend on to win everything from the White House to the Senate majority – and will also show Republicans in other key battlegrounds that they can recall their way into power.
