The Actors Fund

Dear Actors Fund Friends,

When Broadway first closed its doors in March of last year, we hoped for a brief pause. Of course, the reality was much harder. But at long last, Broadway's re-opening is upon us! You can celebrate with us by being among the first audiences back, honoring those who supported our community in its darkest moments, or even reflect on Broadway's resilience in the face of adversity, past and present.

Thank you for continuing to support a life in the arts, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Wicked

Wicked Re-opening Night
Tuesday, September 14, 7 pm ET

Gershwin Theatre

Winner of three 2004 Tony Awards, Wicked is a Broadway phenomenon that looks at what happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different angle. With a thrilling score that includes the hits “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good,” Wicked transfixes audiences with its wildly inventive story and opulent physical production.

Long before Dorothy arrives in Oz, there is a young woman born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one "good," and the other one "wicked."
