I'm going to cut straight to the point: if Derek Schmidt is elected, we risk four years of Sam Brownback 2.0. All of the progress that we've made over the last four years will be under attack.

Schmidt and far right dark money groups have made it abundantly clear they are willing to do whatever it takes to take back the governor's office. Now that he's our only opponent in the race, they're prepared to spend their full attention on the general election.

Our early fundraising numbers are more important than ever before and I need to know I can still count on your support. It's only a matter of time before Republicans launch their next attack, and we need to be prepared.
