Without help, families' struggles will only grow in our

For far too long, special interests manipulated the system to ensure
corporations could win political favor over working families. They lobbied
for big businesses and the wealthy instead of the families who need
support the most. Those big businesses and special interests have won
these fights with millions of lobbyist money. But now, it’s time for that
to change; the U.S. needs to catch up on supporting families.
Investing in families is not something we should do just for the parents;
it’s something we must do for all of us to have a strong, stable economy
and a healthier country. It’s an investment in all of our futures, whether
