Take our Hunger Action Month challenge to #SNAPtheStigma!
Join us this month in one of three ways to help spread awareness of the importance of SNAP (formerly known as food stamps) and help break the stigma of accessing federal nutrition benefits:
Join us on Saturday to honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11 by volunteering and promoting food security across the country. This year we have both in-person and virtual options available through either canvassing in our hometown of New York City or through our virtual phone banking events that can be done anywhere in the U.S.
We hope you'll join us on this important day as we remember those we lost on 9/11 and work to strengthen our communities in their honor.
Sign up for our SNAP Into Action virtual event for teens and young adults! Volunteers will learn more about hunger in the U.S. and resources to alleviate food insecurity through our SNAP simulation activity, followed by a digital content creation project to raise hunger awareness and share community resources.
Hunger Free America is now accepting cryptocurrency donations! We've partnered with the online platform Engiven to securely receive donations via cryptocurrency. To learn more, visit our donation page.
