Team, a new poll on voting rights legislation was just released and we’re happy with the results:
Nevada was one of the states represented in this poll which shows that 64% of voters are in favor of passing the voting rights bills proposed by Democrats in Congress.
Bills like the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the For the People Act would combat voter suppression laws and ensure our elections remain free and fair -- and that’s more important than ever now with Republican legislatures across the country chipping away at voting rights.
Since taking office, Gov. Sisolak has fought to make it easier for Nevadans to vote. He permanently expanded mail-in voting and signed legislation guaranteeing a mail ballot to every eligible voter.
Securing the right to vote has always been a top priority for Gov. Sisolak, and we’re glad to see that the majority of Nevadans agree with him.
