As we make our way out of the covid era, conservative states are at the vanguard of economic recovery. From eliminating state-income taxes to providing relief for small business, conservative policies are leading their states in the return to normalcy.
A recent report by the Pew Trust found that 17 of the top 20 states for personal income growth were states that had conservative-controlled legislatures. Another report by Politico found that out of the 15 states that have returned to pre-pandemic levels of economic activity, 12 were led by conservatives. On the other hand, seven of the 10 states with the lowest levels of economic activity are liberal-controlled.
By allowing small business to reopen, providing tax relief for individuals, and creating freer markets, leaders are proving that conservative policies work for all Americans. The Left could learn from our successes.
