It's time to end the federal prohibition of marijuana -- and begin to right the wrongs of the failed war on drugs.

I have proposed federal legislation to legalize marijuana, a step already taken by red and blue states across the country. The plan would reinvest tax revenue into communities most impacted by the failed war on drugs and fund efforts to expunge prior marijuana convictions.

Federal decriminalization would be an important step toward equity. But it will be an uphill battle in the Senate -- and I need your support. Add your name to call for an end to marijuana prohibition.

Over 40% of Americans live in states where marijuana is legalized -- both red states and blue states -- and support for marijuana legalization is overwhelming, no matter your party. Looking at these numbers, it makes political and financial sense to get this done.

But we know that McConnell and the GOP are prepared to block every piece of legislation they can. So this will be a tough fight -- but that doesn't make it not worth fighting. Can you add your name in official support right now?
