MN GOP Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka announced his campaign against Governor Walz this morning.

During his time as leader of the Senate Republicans, Gazelka has done everything he can to block DFL efforts to address climate change and protect Minnesotans from gun violence. He has doubled down on extreme right-wing policies attacking LGTBQ Minnesotans and latched onto Trump's Big Lie to attack voting rights.

Through the height of the pandemic, Gazelka shamelessly spread misinformation about the severity of COVID-19, held a maskless party that created an outbreak among lawmakers, and failed to alert workers at the venue that he had exposed with his reckless behavior. 

At every point over the past 18 months, Gazelka put his own political ambitions ahead of the health and safety of Minnesotans. He cannot be trusted, and we need to make sure he never comes anywhere near the Governor's office.
