A new poll from the University of Texas at Austin finds that 52% of Texans say the state is headed in the wrong direction -- the worst assessment of the direction of the state since the inception of the poll in 2008.

Ever since Gov. Greg Abbott signed SB8 -- the discriminatory anti-choice bill allowed to go into effect by the Supreme Court -- Texans are saying they have had it, and they’re ready for change.

We spent last week organizing and driving funds to various abortion groups to make sure women in our state are protected. But we also need to think about the politics of this horrific law.

Boot Texas Republicans is ready to hold Greg Abbott accountable for his anti-women agenda and boot him from office in 2022.

Governor Abbott and his cronies in the Texas legislature managed to effectively overturn Roe vs. Wade with a backdoor law that’s designed to send our state back to the stone age.

We can’t allow him to get away with this -- and we won’t. But Abbott has more than $50 million in his campaign war chest, so we need to fight back now.
