Thousands of Southwest Washington commuters use the I-5 and I-205 bridges to get to work in the morning. Now, Oregon wants to place tolls on anyone using those crossings-- but here’s the catch: Oregon doesn’t have plans to use ANY of that money to build a new bridge or improve our shared infrastructure. Nope -- instead, they want to use that money to fund pet projects throughout the state of Oregon meaning Southwest Washington commuters will see little to no benefit from the tolls they pay.
