John,
In the last few meetings I've had with Mark, Nicole and the rest of the SHP team, we can't stop talking about how powerful Start With Hello Week was.
During the last week of September, more than 14,000 schools and youth organizations across the country signed up to join us for Start With Hello Week. We trained hundreds of thousands of students how to prevent violence by reaching out to peers who may feel isolated or ignored.
Holding these trainings during back-to-school season helps reduce bullying and social isolation, and it sets an important tone for the rest of the school year.
But now, I want to hear what you think. Before my next meeting with Nicole and Mark, will you answer this quick question?
How important is it to you that students have the skills and resources to prevent violence in their schools and communities?
