When legislatures take away access to reproductive health care including abortion, it disproportionately hurts Black, brown, and low-income people across the country.
Reproductive justice is racial justice. Is economic justice. Is gender justice.
I can’t help but see the irony of a state refusing to protect school-aged children from a deadly virus that has yet unknown long-term effects claiming to be “pro-life” or “pro-child.” This is just a means to control the bodies of already disenfranchised populations, full stop.
I stand in solidarity with my brothers and sisters in Texas who effectively have lost the right to reproductive health care. If you stand with me, add your name to urge Congress and the White House to solidify Roe v Wade in legislation.
Thanks for standing with me,
