John, earlier this week my campaign’s first ad of the general election went live!

This is a huge step in this campaign ‑‑ keeping our ads alive is critical for getting my message out to voters across the Commonwealth.

But unfortunately, John, running ads like this is expensive. And if we can’t keep up the pace, we could be overrun by extreme Republican messaging. So if you believe in my message, will you chip in $3 today to keep our ads running?

John, this isn’t your normal political advertisement ‑‑ it’s my personal story.

And in my conversations with Virginians from Roanoke to Richmond, I know my story is a Virginia story.

When I was pregnant with my son, I worked at a gas station during the night shift on minimum wage just to make ends meet.

When my son had health complications, Medicaid saved both of our lives.

I know this story resonates because it is the story of so many of us.

These issues are personal to me, and I am proud to be fighting for these same issues every day. But I can’t do this alone ‑‑ will you contribute $3 to keep our important ads running? Election Day is just around the corner, and every dollar counts.
