Friend- Hospitals are skirting the rules again… literally.  A recent report found that almost all hospitals are violating a federal rule that took effect in January 2021 that requires them to post their prices upfront.  Hold hospitals accountable: Demand steeper penalties and greater price transparency. This price transparency rule was put in place to protect YOUR rights as a patient. That way, you can see what you’d owe before getting a procedure, surgery, or treatment. But a majority of patients are still being overcharged and getting stuck with surprise bills. Hospitals continue to HIDE prices from patients because the penalty is just a drop in the bucket for them. That’s why we need you to speak up.
