Last week, the Supreme Court failed millions of Texans by refusing to block a law that creates the most extreme abortion ban in the country.
While this bill affects Texas and not Nevada, it’s part of a national agenda to end access to abortion in this country. With 600 restrictions introduced across the country, 2021 is the worst year for state legislature attacks on abortion since Roe.
Abortion is being attacked nationwide and while Nevada is a state that has protected the right to an abortion, we must continue the fight to protect that right everywhere. Politics has no place in a pregnant person's most personal health care decisions.
