John, this is infuriating.
Senator Joe Manchin has now suggested that Democrats in the Senate "hit the pause button" on President Biden's plan to make a historic and urgently needed investment in our nation's infrastructure.
HOW could a sitting Senator say we need to hit pause on infrastructure in the wake of severe and deadly floods and destruction across Pennsylvania, the Northeast, and the South. Hurricane Ida has once again laid bare the fact that our current infrastructure is outdated and neglected. And it won't stand a fighting chance against the climate emergency that becomes more dire by the day.

Respectfully — now is not the time to "hit the pause button." Now is the time to take action and rebuild. Period.
By now, I've made it pretty clear what I think about Democrats who choose to needlessly stand in the way of the bold progress that working people across the country voted for.
It is my solemn pledge to you that I will not be one of those kinds of Senators. I will *always* act with conviction and vote in favor of progress for the working families of our Commonwealth.
John, if you want a Democrat that you can depend on, that you know is always going to stand up and fight for you, and is actually going to vote like a Democrat, then I am humbly asking for your support in my campaign.
Democrats need to vote like Democrats. We have the House, we have the Senate, we have the White House – so let's act like it and finally deliver real results for working people.
Thank you for having my back, John.

P.S. The last thing Pennsylvania needs is a senator has had to "evolve" on issues. We don't need a senator who will ever be praised by Mitch McConnell. And we definitely don't need a senator who will stand in the way of transformative legislation that helps working people. If you're with me, please donate $5 to support our people-powered campaign.
