Lt. Gov Dan Patrick

Election Integrity Bill

Yesterday, I joined Gov. Abbott as he signed the Election Integrity Bill into law. This monumental signing was extra special because we showed the tenacity of the Texas spirit and how we don't back down in the face of left-wing opposition. Despite the Democrats' attempt to thwart the passage of this common-sense law, Republicans remained steadfast in delivering this victory for Texas voters.

The Democrats' attempt to weaken the security of our elections failed, but that isn't stopping them from spreading misinformation about our Election Integrity Bill.

How interesting they disregard the fact Texas has more early voting days than several blue states, including Biden's home state of Delaware!

Our bill will expand early voting hours, strengthen verification of mail-in ballots, and increase security by ensuring no election machine is connected to the internet. This legislation will make it EASIER TO VOTE and HARDER TO CHEAT.

I'm proud our Election Integrity Bill is now officially the law of the land so that every Texan can feel confident in our state's election process.

Democrats have shown they do not support securing our elections. When Texans cast their ballot, they deserve to know that their vote will be counted in a free and fair election. I'm committed to always making it easier to vote and harder to cheat, and I would like to have your support. May I count on your support of $5-10-25 or more today? We must stop the Democrats from weakening the security of our elections.
