Kevin McCarthy is scared. He and his fellow Coup Crew members may have their cell phone records subpoenaed to learn who they communicated with during the January 6th insurrection.

McCarthy knows who he called. He’s worried these records will implicate himself and extremists like Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs. So, McCarthy’s doing everything he can to stop private companies from sharing these phone records –– he’s even threatened the companies!

Do you think the January 6th committee should subpoena the phone records of insurrectionists in Congress like McCarthy?

Congressional committees routinely subpoena data from private companies to ensure they have all the necessary information to make a fair and just evaluation. Without knowing what transpired on January 6, 2021, the American people may never find closure on the attack on the Capitol.
