Location Change — Hook Hall

The Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) hopes you'll join us for Tech Prom: The Reunion on Wednesday, October 20!

After a lot of careful consideration, we are relocating this year's Tech Prom to a venue with extended outdoor space and expanding our virtual offering.

Tech Prom will now take place at Hook Hall in northwest Washington D.C., a spacious venue that has an airy interior hall and a sizeable outdoor space. A companion virtual event will bring together guests to hear from VIPs, chat with other virtual attendees, and connect via Zoom with the in-person event.

Tech Prom takes place on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Sponsor rates increase after Friday, September 17, so if you've not yet purchased your ticket, now is the time to do so. We are at 77% capacity for the in-person event with space filling quickly, so secure your ticket or sponsorship today!

For more information about sponsorships, tickets, and confirmed sponsors to date, please visit our Tech Prom web page ([link removed]). For questions about the event, please contact [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=CDT%20Tech%20Prom%202021).

Your support allows CDT to continue our important work. We hope you'll join us — either in-person or virtually!

Where: Hook Hall, 3400 Georgia Ave NW, Washington, D.C. 20010

When: Wednesday, October 20, 2021, 5:30PM-10:00PM

The Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) advocates for the digital rights of all. We advance data privacy and online speech, and work to reduce bias and inequity in algorithms and limit government surveillance. We serve as translators between technologists and policymakers, and offer counsel and guidance in legislation, regulation, and corporate policies. CDT is the leading nonpartisan, multi-stakeholder convener and a trusted and measured voice in the tech policy space.
