Hey John —We wrote to you before about Willow, the massive drilling project in Alaska by ConocoPhillips granted by the Trump administration. But a federal judge just paused the project, agreeing that the government hadn’t taken the environmental impact of the drilling into account.
This is a huge victory, and wouldn’t have been possible without the outspoken advocacy of SEEC members. They lead the charge standing up to the Trump administration that granted the original permit, and the Biden administration that allowed the project to move forward.
Will you contribute to our cause today to support the SEEC PAC members fighting everyday to end harmful projects like Willow and create cleaner, sustainable energy projects for the future? [[link removed]]

This battle isn’t over yet. The judge has paused the project, but it doesn’t mean that it still can’t happen. We have to continue raising our voices to get the plans cancelled once and for all.
The drilling is designed to produce more than 100,000 barrels of oil a day for the next 30 years. It’s the exact opposite of the projects we should be supporting.
The science is unequivocal, the burning of fossil fuels is causing climate change and extreme weather patterns. SEEC members in Congress are working everyday to pivot our country towards a future with cheap, clean, sustainable energy that will allow our economy and our planet to thrive.
Will you pitch in today so SEEC PAC members can continue working to transform our energy economy into one that relies on clean, renewable energy for the future? [[link removed]]
