Our movement has won billions of dollars in raises for millions of workers. Now, we need to show up for our brothers and sisters fighting for $15 and a Union in home care jobs.

For too long, workers who take care of seniors and people with disabilities have been shut out from job protections and good pay because of policies leaving out Black, Brown, and immigrant workers.

President Biden's Build Back Better plan is a once-in-a-generation chance to guarantee better pay and protections for care workers, and a path to citizenship for vulnerable communities.

Every one of us will need care, either for ourselves or a loved one, at some point. Care work -- knowing that a loved one will get their medication, get bathed, and get groceries -- makes everything else possible. Workers who give care, compassion, and love need to be supported.
