John,

There are dozens of Republican governors across the country trying to turn back the clock. Trans rights are under fervent assault in states like Florida, South Dakota, and Alabama to name a few, and Republicans aren't easing up any time soon.

Americans like Marie's daughter are made out to be their proverbial boogeymen but here's what we know for sure -- Marie will never stop fighting for full LGBTQ+ equality, and we need your help.

Marie already has far-right challengers in IL-03 who see what's happening in Republican-controlled states and want to replicate that at the federal level, which would be disastrous for the countless trans people across the country.

The House passed the Equality Act months ago, and with only a few seats separating us from the minority, we need to make sure Democrats hold on to every seat in 2022 so we can keep moving the country forward.

Can you chip in today to keep Marie fighting for LGBTQ+ equality in Washington? [[link removed]]

If Republicans take control of Congress, we will lose all progress we've made on civil rights. We need to protect our ever-so-slim Democratic majority and keep the pressure on to get LGBTQ+ equality across the country.

Can you chip in to keep our Democratic majority and push for LGBTQ+ equality? [[link removed]]
