Hello John,
I hope that you had a meaningful Labor Day and that you and your loved ones are continuing to weather this pandemic.
As you know, Treatment Advocacy Center’s former executive director, John Snook, departed last January, at which time the Board of Directors appointed longtime staffer Lisa Dailey as acting executive director. Since that time, Lisa has only confirmed the wisdom of our choice. For the past eight months, she has successfully steered Treatment Advocacy Center through a leadership transition and helped us survive and thrive in the midst of a global health crisis.
At a time when treatment reform has never been more urgent, Lisa and the talented Treatment Advocacy Center team she leads have been keeping the public’s attention focused and keeping our government leaders accountable. For all those reasons, the Board of Directors is convinced that a further search for a permanent leader for our organization is not necessary.
I am, therefore, very pleased to share with you the news that the Board of Directors has voted to offer the position of executive director to Lisa, and that she has accepted our offer.
