As a reminder, the ATF's?proposed rule, ATF 2021R-08, <[link removed]>?would make most firearms with attached stabilizing braces subject to the National Firearms Act.?The ATF plans on using a confusing and convoluted point-based system to determine what is/is not an NFA item.?To be clear, stabilizingbraces?are used by people all across this country.?In certain cases, individuals using?stabilizingbraces?have an injury or physical impairment in which the?braces?become a necessary aid. ?Should Rule 2021R-08 be adopted, these individuals will be hit hard.
