Tell the EPA: Clean Up Our Water!
TAKE ACTION

Friend –
Millions of Americans are drinking tap water with unsafe levels of hazardous chemicals.
Although these levels may be legal, they are NOT safe. The EPA is required by law to review the unregulated contaminants in our drinking water every five years. But for the past 20 years, the EPA has failed to take action on any of the dozens of chemicals linked to cancer, hormone disruption and fertility issues.
Right now, the EPA is asking to hear from YOU. This is our chance to tell the agency to do its job and clean up our water! We only have until September 17 to make our voices heard. Will you join us?

Just look at what EWG’s researchers have revealed about our drinking water:
* Cancer-linked PFAS in the drinking water of an estimated 200 million Americans or more.
* Unsafe levels of chlorate, a disinfection byproduct that disrupts the hormone system, in the drinking water of 43 million Americans.
* 1,4-dioxane, an industrial pollutant classified by the EPA as likely carcinogenic, in the drinking water of 88 million Americans.
The EPA is finally reviewing all these contaminants and more, but it’s going to take a tidal wave of grassroot support to force the EPA to take action. EWG is aiming for 50,000 comments in support of clean water before the EPA’s September 17 deadline. Will you help us reach our goal?
TAKE ACTION: Get cancer-linked chemicals out of our tap water! Add your name to EWG’s petition before the September 17 deadline.
