John,
My name is Denise Merrill, and I’m serving my third term as Connecticut’s chief election official. I was president of the National Association of Secretaries of State for two years and currently serve as treasurer of DASS.
Suffice it to say, I’m qualified to set the record straight about the election misinformation spreading across the country. And I’d like to do just that with you today. [[link removed]]
First [[link removed]] , little if any widespread voter fraud exists. A thirteen-year study by Professor Justin Levitt of Loyola Law School revealed only 31 credible allegations out of more than 1 billion votes cast nationally.
Second [[link removed]] , even Donald Trump, who made more accusations of “voter fraud” than any U.S. President in history, couldn’t find an iota of evidence for his claims through his 2017 Advisory Committee.
And last but not least [[link removed]] , election workers from both parties do crucial work to keep voter rolls up to date and keep our system running. Attacks on “election integrity” are just attacks on the integrity of those hard-working Americans! [[link removed]]
John, DASS needs your help to support Democratic, pro-voter Secretaries of State who will fight these baseless accusations and protect our rights.
How about it, John – can you chip in $27 or more right now to stand with DASS? You can help us build a stronger democracy and a better tomorrow! Chip in today >>> [[link removed]]
