We are 230 days into Democrats controlling Congress and the Presidency.
But the political establishment has spent that time protecting the status
quo.

Just this summer, Corporate Democrats have stalled progress on climate
change, infrastructure, and abortion access. If we want to win a Green New
Deal, pass Medicare for All, or cancel student loan debt, we’ll need to
elect candidates who are ready to fight for working people — not corporate
interests.

We know the transformational power of a primary. In 2018, Justice
Democrats helped AOC oust corporate puppet Joe Crowley. In 2020 we helped
Jamaal Bowman defeat Elliot Engel, Cori Bush win against William Lacey
Clay, and Marie Newman unseat anti-choice Democrat Dan Lipinski.

With the 2022 midterms on the horizon, we’re launching the Primary Power
Fund to leverage our organizing power, challenge the status quo, and
ensure that our candidates have the resources we need to defeat corporate

The Democratic Party and its establishment candidates have an entire
ecosystem of campaign resources — from political technology, volunteer
lists, campaign fundraising support from PACs and big donor money. All to
raise millions of dollars to elect candidates who are doing nothing to
improve the lives of working people in Congress.

There are also powerful right-wing interests already spending money on
Facebook ads, TV commercials, and text messages to smear the Squad. They
will likely start directing their racist, xenophobic right-wing lies at
our four primary challengers soon enough. We’re relying on you to help us
have the funds to fight back.
