John,

The only place on Earth where orangutans, elephants, rhinos, and tigers live together is being ripped to shreds to make way for palm oil.

Indonesia’s Leuser ecosystem is the “orangutan capital of the world”, and it’s slowly dying as greedy companies like Mondelēz place profits above all.

By sourcing from Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) -- one of the world’s most notorious forest-destroyers -- the maker of Cadbury, Oreo and Ritz is knowingly buying up the palm oil that’s killing this precious ecosystem.

We know that RGE can’t afford to lose a buyer as big as Mondelēz -- so that’s where you come in. We need to create a huge outcry to show Mondelēz that consumers in every corner of the globe can see what it’s doing -- and want it to cut ties with this dirty palm oil.

Will you add your name to save the orangutan capital of the world from palm oil devastation?

The Leuser Ecosystem is a spectacular expanse of rare, intact rainforest. Once it’s gone, we’ll never get it back. Its rainforests and peatlands are an essential corridor for a herd of over 200 elephants -- one of the many species that are dying for palm oil.

Since 2014, our friends at Rainforest Action Network have been exposing Mondelēz’s ties to the destruction of the orangutan capital of the world. Despite its warm words to clean up its palm oil problem it’s still buying from Leuser-destroyer Royal Golden Eagle.

But Mondelēz has a weak spot: its brands like Oreo, Philadelphia, Ritz and Cadbury are in every store around the world, and it has a reputation to keep up. A giant global outcry could set off alarms bells at Mondelēz HQ -- and we need you to make that happen:

Add your name to stop Mondelēz destroying the orangutan capital of the world.

You’ve got an incredible track record of winning against palm oil offenders. Since 2014 we’ve forced companies like McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Starbucks to commit to no-deforestation palm oil policies.

Together, we can clean up the palm oil industry and force Mondelēz to drop this dirty palm oil from its supply chains. But this fight is bigger than Mondelēz. It’s the world’s third biggest maker of chocolates. If we force this industry laggard to clean up its act, it’ll have a domino effect on competitors like Ferrero. That’s why your help is so important -- can we count on you?
