Folks,
Friday was one of the happiest days of my life. My daughter got married.
Haley has always given me so much to be proud of. She’s been a fearless advocate for working families, vulnerable communities, and our planet for her entire adult life. Her work in Congress is so inspiring to me -- but I’m sure you already know about all the incredible bills and programs she’s passing.
Instead, I want to tell you about what I saw on her wedding day.
Haley looked beautiful in her dress. Rob was so handsome at the altar. Together, they were the perfect, loving couple I had always imagined.
It gave me hope -- these two young people making a promise to each other at such an uncertain time in the world. No matter what may come, I know their love is stronger.
It’s the same hope that I feel when I hear about Haley’s work in Congress. (I know, I brought it up again. What can I say, I’m a mom!) She’s putting in the long hours now to make sure the world is a better place for families in the future.
And while Haley took time for her wedding this weekend, I know that if she comes back and sees that she’s fallen behind on campaign fundraising, she’ll work twice as hard to catch up. I want to make sure Haley gets to enjoy this special time, so that’s why I’m asking you now: will you chip in $25 to support my daughter’s campaign in honor of her wedding day?

Thank you so much.
With strength in love & hope,
