There are zero American troops in Afghanistan but there are a couple hundred
American citizens abandoned and behind enemy lines. As a nation, we have a
responsibility to get every single one of them out.

But it looks like Democrats have other plans.

In fact, every single Democrat in Congress voted against my bill that would
have required the Biden Administration to give daily reports on how many people
are still waiting to get out of Afghanistan.

Friend, here’s why Democrats rejected this bill:

 

They didn’t want to take any time or resources away from their #1 priority ––
passing the $3.5 trillion “Bernie blowout budget” that is packed full of
nonsense progressive agenda items.

 

This is shameful. The facts speak for themselves, and it’s unthinkable that
this is what has become of Congress.
