Let’s just look at the recent record of this Tory Government. What they’ve said, compared to what they’re doing.

After telling us that there would be no vaccine passports, we now learn that we’re weeks away from vaccine passports becoming mandatory for large events.

They said they would continue to follow the science when it comes to their Covid response and yet now they’re openly talking about ignoring the guidance from the JCVI so that they can push on with unnecessary vaccinations in children.

And now we learn about their proposal to raise National Insurance despite offering a manifesto pledge in 2019 that they wouldn’t.

If all this wasn't bad enough, after months of telling us the roadmap out of lockdown was "irreversible", today we hear rumours of a planned firebreak lockdown in October.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s on child vaccinations, passports, lockdowns or the money in your pocket – we simply cannot believe a word the Tories say anymore – on anything.

Instead of real leadership, this Government is giving us nothing but broken promises, chaotic, inconsistent messaging, and an increasing number of damaging policies that will stagnate our growth, make our people poorer, and keep our country in a state of permanent fear over Covid.

To compound matters, we have a vacuous opposition which seems to leap up and down trying to make noise but without having the ability to say or do anything that offers any kind of real solution. Labour have nothing to offer. They no longer represent the very people that they were created to support, or anybody else for that matter.

It couldn’t be clearer that now is the time for action. It’s been said so many times before but we really haven’t ever been at a cross roads quite as perilous as the one we’re at now.

You have the power in your hands to change the direction of politics in this country and Reform UK is the vehicle through which you can do it.

The future of Britain depends on having strong, optimistic and determined leadership that is committed to empowering people to believe in themselves, their abilities, their resilience; that encourages people to believe in each other and what we can achieve as a nation.
