Do you dream of Black girl excellence and inspiring real action in the community? Are you passionate about helping develop the future generation into strong, powerful Black women? Do you love working with girls and interjecting fun into everything you do? Then we want you to join our team! Girls For A Change is hiring for the following positions.

Program Director - salaried position, 40 hours per week
Help us to create educational and social learning programs while also ensuring staffing goals are met, staff members are properly certified, and our programs meet all guidelines. If you have previous experience in a leadership position at an after-school center or daycare of a compassionate nature and a dedication to empowering children’s lives, apply here ([link removed]) .

Grant Writer - Contract Position - 1 year, 25-30 hours per week
We're looking for a grant writer with strong writing, presentation, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills. The Grant Writer will assist the Elevating LeadHers fellow and work closely with our Director of Development, CEO, and Board of Directors in assisting with fundraising endeavors. Elevating LeadHers Fellowship - 3 years
This three-year fellowship is for an emerging to mid-career fundraising professional. The selected fellow will develop her fundraising skills, receive mentorship from diverse, seasoned grantmakers, fundraisers, and philanthropists, learn about racial justice giving and develop an innovative framework to address a systemic issue in philanthropy. ** Lead a Girl Action Team
------------------------------------------------------------
What happens when you collaborate with young Black girls and give them a chance to tackle social justice issues affecting their community? You get public art that flips the script, life-altering father/daughter dances, and awareness campaigns that help to erase bias and dangerous stereotypes.

We're looking for Girl Action Team coaches for the 2021 - 2022 school year. We need passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated women to help drive and guide teams of young girls and help them realize their potential for social change. All coaches must pass a criminal background check, attend training ($20 fee) ([link removed]) , and go through an interview process. Our Coaches Training ([link removed]) is Saturday, September 25, 9am-5pm.

** Survey for Youth Service Providers
------------------------------------------------------------

The National Black Women’s Justice Institute is examining the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the delivery of services to system-impacted Black girls and gender-expansive youth. The survey takes 15-20 minutes and will inform policy recommendations that build the capacity of organizations to support the needs of system-impacted Black girls and gender-expansive youth of color. Dr. Seanna Leath ([link removed]) , who runs the F.H.I.RE (Fostering Healthy Identities and REsilience) Lab at the University of Virginia is doing a study on Black Parenting.
