My right-wing opponent Glenn Youngkin isn’t just endorsed by Donald Trump, Youngkin actually said that Donald Trump represents so much of why he’s running.
Youngkin is putting his money where his mouth is. He pushed Trump’s anti-democratic “big lie” that the 2020 election was stolen, and he is promising to roll back every inch of Virginia’s hard won progress. If he wins, Youngkin will ban abortion, defund Planned Parenthood, and put more guns on our streets.
So defeating Glenn Youngkin isn’t just about Virginia, John — it’s about doing our part to end Trumpism in our country once and for all.

Virginia was a key battleground in 2020 and Virginia Democrats responded by turning out in record numbers. In the end, we stood together and Donald Trump was a one-term President.
Today’s outlook isn’t so rosy. Recent polling shows me and Youngkin in a virtual tie. And my opponent is vowing to spend $75 million from his vast personal fortune in the final months of this campaign.
If he makes good on that promise, Youngkin could win. That would be a huge victory for Donald Trump and extremism ahead of next year’s midterm. Worse still, Trump’s 2024 Presidential campaign would get a huge momentum boost.
John, we worked too hard to fire Donald Trump in 2020 to just stay on the sidelines and let him get back in the game in 2021.
