I wish you and your family a happy new year filled with happiness, health, and joy.

Dear Friend,

To all those who celebrate, may you have a sweet new year and be inscribed in the book of life!

5781 has been a year of mixed blessings. Melanie and I welcomed our son into the world, and I was re-elected to serve the people of this district until 2022. We continued to fight the virus, and while things began to get better with increased vaccination, we still lost so many members of our community. Our values were tested as our country experienced a contentious election and a violent insurrection, but we proved stronger than the lies and hate which sought to tear us apart.

Rosh Hashanah is a holiday for committing to change as an individual, and as a community, to create a better world for everyone. I invite you all to take this day as a moment of reflection on how we can make the coming year a sweet one.

Together, we continue to move forward with optimism in our hearts and resolve to make our corner of the world a better place. Melanie, Evan, and I wish you and your family a happy new year filled with happiness, health, and joy.

Sincerely,

Andrew
