Get your young ones to save the rainforest with Steve Backshall!

Parents, teachers, Scout leaders – Steve Backshall needs you!

As children head back to school, this is the perfect time to get them engaged with conservation and that’s what the WLT Patron wants to do, with your help. By enlisting your young ones in Operation Ocelot, they will 📏 measure their school, street or any other area they feel connected with, 🧮 calculate a fundraising target and 💰 raise money as a team to save the same area of Ocelot habitat in Guatemala. 
 
For an illustration of the impact children could make with Steve Backshall, look no further than the latest conservation breakthrough delivered by WLT supporters: the news (see full story below) that together and through our Borneo appeal, we’ve raised enough to save up to five plots of orangutan habitat – up from the two we had initially aimed for.

Our Big Match Fortnight (BMF) is now only one month away and with the countdown ticking towards the 14 days of doubled donations (6-19 October 2021), it’s never too soon to start thinking about the fundraising challenge you could be launching when BMF goes live on 6 October.
