Happy Labor Day, John!

Today we honor hard-working Americans and the labor movement that has given us things like:

Weekends
8 hour work days
End of child labor
Unemployment benefits
Workers compensation laws
Medical leave

But, we can still do better. Right now, an American working a minimum wage job can afford a two bedroom apartment in exactly zero cities across the nation. And many folks find themselves working multiple jobs just to make ends meet and provide for their families.

Your Democratic House Majority is working hard to pass legislation to raise the federal minimum wage, but Republicans are fighting them every step of the way. Can you chip in today to give Democrats fighting for working families the resources they need to get this legislation on the table?
